Introduction

Examination is a very important activity in the academic field. The examination committee including teaching and non-teaching staff requires to perform their duties very sincerely. The role of examination committee is to ensure smooth and fair conduct of following examinations of First year and Second year of graduation.

Advancement in the technology has reflected on the examination pattern and functioning therein that has led to the progression in the overall working and output of the examination exercise. Examination is a traditional method of assessment of learners, modernized as per changing scenario at global level; and giving the learner a specific recognition in the cadre / ladder of marking / grading. Because of such a hurdle, learner spares time, goes through text books, reference books, and allied study material to get maximum knowledge of a subject in question. This process pulls up and expands imbibing abilities of learner to a peak, so that he / she can think logically and apply filtered knowledge for the welfare of the society in general and for improving his / her intellectual, economical and social status in particular. Therefore, in the process of teaching-learning, examination acquires highest status and decides intellectual situation of the learner.

Aim

To create healthy, examination- pro atmosphere on the campus for the fair examination conduct and to shape the learner to fit in to the Frame of Examination set by the University of Mumbai to achieve the maximum score with the expanded boundaries of knowledge applicable to the Social Welfare & National Development.

  • To motivate the learner to refer the literature & expose them to the vast ocean of knowledge.
  • To acclimatize the learner to the continuous evaluation process.
  • To undertake learner- centered examination practices for facilitating progressive evaluation process.
  • To create examination- friendly atmosphere on the campus.
